Overview
About Me
I am a curious person, always willing to learn more about people and places, share experiences and stories. I am honest and open, easygoing and respectful.
I am living in Scotland at the moment, so I am not able to welcome you to Udine. Come to Scotland instead! My flatmate Flo and I are happy to host you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been travelling from friend to friend for too long; I guess it's now time for me to engage more with stragers and unknown cities. Needing new inspiration.
Interests
Art, in all its forms. And people, obviously. I play theatre, paint, draw and work with clay, but I am also fascinated by the poetry of a landscape, the taste of a traditional dish, the wonder of simple things.
I am always up for plunging into an honest conversation and getting to know other points of view, cultural peculiarities, people's stories. I would not advise you to follow me into a museum unless you are an art buff - I could spend hours in there - but I can be the perfect mate for a walk in the open air or a night out. I am also a sporty person.

Music, Movies, and Books
So hard to pick a favourite thing in this ever-changing existence...
With regards to music, avoiding mentioning the classics, I am still deeply in love with Sigur Ros, but I managed to see playing live also Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Alt-J, Battiato and a bunch of other Italian folks. Still hoping to get a taste of Woodkid, Justice, The Black Keys and many others in the future.
In the wide range of films that I like, you can find Kieslowski as well as Miyazaki (father) or Sorrentino, Wes Anderson and the classics - included Disney's ones, why not?
Plays usually win my favour among other books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After 24 years of long hair, I cut my braid and shaved my head completely for an artwork. I did it myself, on a Scottish hill, on the 29th of February of the leap year 2016.
Happy to tell you the whole story when we meet.
Teach, Learn, Share
Especially when travelling, I am always up for sharing and gaining cooking skills: I am happy to trade an authentic risotto with a good local dish. I am also totally grateful to anyone who is willing to show around their city to me, but I am independent in my quest if you are busy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Mostly time. But also surreal drawings and food. And my knowledge of Mediterranean, Dutch and Scottish life - although I am Italian, I spent the leatest years mainly around The Netherlands and the UK, where I am living at the moment.
