I'm Chiara, an Italian girl. I'm an open-minded and very curious person. And, obviously, I love travelling! Right now, I'm studying Building Engeineering and Architecture in Padua, but I come from Gorizia, a little city near the border with Slovenia. For this reason, I'm used to live in touch with different cultures since I was a child.

My parents teach me that the most wonderful way to spend your free time is by travelling and when I have the chance I follow their advice! In the past years I have been to a lot of different countries and I have met a lot of different and interesting peopole.

I'm not very easy-going, sometimes I feel immediately comfortable with people, sometimes I am shy and I need my time to open up! But I like to meet new people and I'm a good listener :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine introduced me to couchsurfing while we were doing Interrail. At first, I was skeptical but after the first experience I changed my mind. I think it's a wonderful way to meet locals and to know new cultures and way of thinking!
Unfortunately, I haven't done couchsurfing lately but I hope to experience it again soon!

Interests

I'm really into architecture and art... I can spend hours in a museum or in a church just observing everything! But I like the other kind of arts too, for example cinema, music, literature.. If you like this kind of things we can have a good chat :)

I love rock, folk and indie music!I love to go to festivals and to concert. It's one of the thing I prefer doing.
I love cinema, I'm always looking for someone who wants to come with me to movies festival! If you love cinema, I'd like to have a chat with you :) And I love tv series too, expecially sci-fi tv series.

I like to learn about new places and cultures and I think there's a lot to learn only listening to someone speaking.
I can talk about the Italian culture and my travelling experience and i can share with you some typical food of Italian cooking! :D
