I am a 24-year-old student. I come from Italy, where I have lived for almost all my life: last year I have moved to Stuttgart (Germany) for a semester as an exchange student (Erasmus +). This experience has enriched me a lot, allowing me to know new horizons and to learn new languages.
Currently, I'm living in Fukuoka (Japan), as a research student: my new adventure in Asia is bringing me to travel across Japan.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love travelling: especially in this period abroad, as soon as I can I pack my things into a small bag and I catch a plane or a train for moving into another city. Couchsurfing is a great experience for knowing other people that share my same passion for travelling and for seeing always new places.

兴趣

Besides travelling, my love is concentrated in the art. One of my passions is writing: when a piece of paper becomes alive with a story, nothing makes me happier. I write both articles for some Italian newspaper and short novels, that for the moment are still closed in a box in my room. I love also books and literature: luckily, I can carry on this passion during my trips. Cinema is also part of my life: I took part several times in the Venice International Film Festival as a press officer. Last but not least, I play the piano since I was a child and music is always in my head.

My musical tastes are really eclectic: rock music is my original passion, but right now I am exploring new horizons in classical, electronic, indie and gipsy music (all regular, huh?).
I have seen so many movies I cannot tell one out of them that represents me most: for sure, "Le fableux destin d'Amelie Poulain", "The Royal Tenembaums", "Django Unchained", "Everything is illuminated" and "Howl's Moving Castle" have deeply influenced me. I have a double love-hate feeling for Lars von Trier.
I read a lot of books, too: right now, my interest is focused on the Japanese literature, with authors as Murakami Haruki and Kawabata Yasunari.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In September 2015, I travelled on my own to Finland to meet a friend in Oulu. In the following next days we travelled among the whole Lapland: I have seen Santa Claus' lab in Rovaniemi, I have walked through the pitlands to harvest finnish berries, I ended up in the middle of nowhere in a place surrounded by reindeers and silence. Unfortunately, I could not see the northern lights!
