About Me
Currently Erasmus-Student in Graz
Med student, fifth year.
I love travelling, but unfortunately don't have much time to visit all the places I'd like to.
I may seem a bit shy, at the beginning, but I just need a bit of time to assest.
During the years I've developed a great interest in Germany and German, and I've been studying it a lot, but I'd love to improve it more, since it's not so easy to speak it fluently (of course, my English too needs to be improved).
I love reading, without any preferences, and cooking relaxes me (especially baking and trying new recipes).
I'm pretty active: I've played basketball for a long time, but I like running too (especially in the woods).
Unfortunately, I hate dancing :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I tend to be a little shy, at the beginning, so I thought that being on Couchsurfing would help me loosing up a bit, since I'm really open, friendly and easygoing with the people I know :) I see it as a great opportunity to met new people... and, why not, keeping in touch would be a nice way to improve my knowledge of English and German (that I don't get to practice very often in my daily life).
Moreover, a friend of mine has talked me a lot about the amazing experiences she's had with Couchsurfing, and about the nice people she's met :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived for a month in Switzerland, working in the morning to pay the accomodation, in a small pension (found through HelpX) in Saas Grund (Swiss Alps). It was a wonderful month: the owner of the hotel treated me like a daughter, and I've spent a lot of time with her family, but I also got time to wander on my own, to visit Bern, Luzern, Zurich, Interlaken, and of course the gorgeous Saastal, thanks to the free tickets she kindly gave me.
But I also got to know others girls that were working there, from Japan, Hungary and Portugal: this was the experience that opened my eyes and made me realize how great meeting new people could be, since they can have completely different experiences of life to share and tell.
