Overview
About Me
I am currently living in Loja, Ecuador and working as a Peace Corps volunteer. I spent the last 2 and half years travelling in the world through volunteering projects. I'm a very curious person. I love travelling, meeting people, making new experiences, reading, and most of all hearing the others' histories - as we have just one life, listening about other lifestyles and perspectives is like getting one more dimension. I am particularly passionate about islands and places with a particular nature and culture. I want to hear of -and experience if there is the occasion- different possibilities of living, and dream a bit about it! One last thing that may interest you... I'm very good at cooking - italian dishes and also others! I also enjoy volunteering and helping if possible, and participate in social projects, and I love all kinds of animals and nature.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I love the exchange and meeting new people. When I travel, I don't like being just a tourist going around to see all the most known sites and then rushing away. I don't think that this is knowing a place: it should be different, longer, deeper, it should give the possibility to learn new things and create connections and memories that will always last. It is necessary to stay a longer time and find new friends living there, to get into the place's soul.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to almost everything, both modern and old style music. In the past I played piano and drum, now I am trying - still unsuccesfully - to learn guitar.
About books, my favourite authors are Jean Giono, Hesse, Hemingway, Saramago, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Tomasi di Lampedusa, Oriana Fallaci. I also read many essays about anthropology, history, cooking.
About movies, one that I really love is Mr Nobody. But I prefer to watch tv series, as Lost, Prison Break, Breaking Bad, Vikings and others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I swam with sea lions and tiny sharks and I volunteered for giant turtles in Galapagos National Park for three months!
Teach, Learn, Share
Life is endless learning, that is beautiful, there is always something more.
I'd like to learn new things as most as I can.
I can teach you something about italian cooking, languages -french, spanish, portuguese...-, italian lifestyle, anthropology and parkour - and other things.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sharing of experiences, help in some tasks, friendship and a nice time together!
Now I live in Loja, Ecuador, with other housemates so unfortunately I don't have the possibility to host. However, once back in Turin, Italy, I could host you in my place.
