Présentation
À propos de moi
[UPDATE 21.3.2019 - I'm currently updating my profile, since I have not been using it for a lot of time!]
I'm an Italian born and grown in one of the two big islands in Italy: Sardegna. When I was younger I used to dislike my hometown, only because I was forced to live there, but after I started traveling I realized how much I love Cagliari so that now it's my mission to show you how beautiful it is!
I'm quite sunny and talkative and I enjoy a lot laughing and talking about interesting topics. I live with my family and my lovely dog Jessica Fletcher alias Jojo (you can see her in the photos). I like spending my free time playing videogames or doing long walks around the city, often with Jojo, and I'm trying to find more time to write my stories.
I speak English fluently and have a good understanding of Spanish, which I studied at university. I can also read French quite well.
Two years ago I started learning Japanese but I didn't manage to do it properly, so now I'm trying to start again and I would like to get a N4 level by the end of 2019.
In 2014 I left for my first experience abroad. I did five months of Erasmus at the University of Wroclaw in Poland, then in 2016 I graduated and did a two months internship in Budapest. While I was there I decided I wanted to visit Japan, so I applied for an International Civil Service project in a farm near Samegawa village in the prefecture of Fukushima, where I lived in August and September, collecting vegetables and sleeping in a caravan: probably the most difficult but also most beautiful and memorable experience of my life!
After coming back home, in April 2017 I left again for one year when I did the European Voluntary Service in a youth club in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.
Now I am back in Cagliari, studying programming and enjoying the nice weather. In England I didn't have much money so I only visited the cities around mine, but maybe next months I will start traveling again!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
[PLEASE READ THIS]
At the moment I live with my family so I'm sorry I'm not able to host, but during my free time I can meet travelers and show them around :)
Please note that I'm definitely not into night life, disco and alcohol, so if you are looking for that types of activities I'm not your person xD
But if you want to walk around the city, going to the beach, have tea or ice cream and talk about everything (geeks welcome!) you are in the right place!
And even if I won't have time to meet you I will be happy to give you advices on what to see ;D

Couchsurfing is the perfect way to travel where you want, but in a different, more interesting and cheaper way, with the chance to know how people live everywhere and to meet new friends: you can't have this if you stay in a hotel!
It's also the perfect way for solo travelers like me who love to leave on their own but want to meet local people and find new friends.
[Needless to say I'm totally gay friendly!]

I can teach you my language, Italian, and information about Italy (unfortunately I'm not a good cook :P but I know how to make carbonara and some kind of pasta!) and about places I'm living in at the moment or that I've visited, and basics of crochet!
I'm not a native English speaker but I have an advanced level (C1) so I can help you practicing it.
I always like to learn new languages and everything about your country and city, and I'd really like to find people with interests close to mines and share them!
