so, my name is Chiara and I am currently living in Trier, Germany which is a cute and beautiful little town in the west of germany, surrounded by vineyards and wonderful hiking trails. nature is really close in this city.
I have started studying philosophy last year and reeeaally enjoy it so far, as I can choose freely what to learn in uni and where to immerse myself in. the topics and the way of thinking in philosophy I really like.
I am just finding out how I wanna live my life and trying to build up a stable life at one place. But I also really like being on the road, travelling, not knowing where I might end up and just going with the flow. I havent really been travelling on my terms for about a year now and it really is time to go and see what happens.
I am surely an open-minded people and up for many things. I enjoy talking to people and listening to their stories and to experience their mindset. I like laughing and joking and not taking life too serious cause thats what really makes them all mad right ;)
I just rediscovered my like for photography so Im taking my analogue camera almost everywhere I'm going, Im also into arts and painting, but Im kind of lacking a good technique to really express what I am seeing and feeling. I would love someone to show me how to really paint what I imagine. I enjoy reading a lot, but I doint always have time to really settle in and read because sometimes I get too excited about the stuff that is happening all aorund me.
I also like doing all kinds of sports such as hiking, climbing, yoga, swimming and running.

Música, películas y libros

I have just discovered a german singer-songwriter whose name is Faber and I really enjoy his music. Apart from that I like lots of different genres of music. I enjoy listening to psytrance and techno or some other electronic music, as well as classical music or psychedelic and punk rock, acoustics and so on. At the moment I really enjoy Pink Floyd, Eddie Vedder and Xavier Rudd.
one of the best movies I have seen in the last few months was definitely waking life (about lucid dreaming with lots of philosophocal inputs), which was directed by Linklater, another of his movies is dazed and confused which I also liked a lot. I have really enjoyed watching Boyhood, On the road and La Grande Bellezza.
What to say about books? At the moment, I enjoy reading american writers. I have just finished reading Kerouacs' On the road and I really enjoyed the attitude to life that I felt reading this book. After that, I have read The catcher in the rye by Salinger and right now I am reading one of Capotes books.
I really like Hermann Hesse (f.ex. Steppenwolf, Demian, Narziss &Goldmund), camus and sartre and I also like poetry a lot.

oh i dont know what to say about this point. life is full of amazing things and I have learned a lot about the world and the society I live in as well as myself in the last few years. I have travelled for a few months around India and Australia, have tried to build up a stable and happy life and have tried to connect to other people.

I am really interested to see how other people live their lifes, whats their motivation to do things, whats the thing that makes them feel alive, or sad, or angry. I really want to see and get to know a lot of different people and try to understand them for what they are.
I have just started getting more into philosophy but I can surely tell you some stuff I have learned so far and always enjoy discussions or talks about what ever touches you.
