Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling for an Au Pair can be really tough since the money we make is barely sufficient to live. I heard of Couchsurfing from some Au Pair friends who used it a lot and were always satisfied, so I got really curious about it. I love traveling and I think that living with someone, even for few days, and exchange cultures while spending time together is the best way to visit a place and get into that place for real. I love meeting locals and this platform gives the chance to do it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm currently listening to a lot of meditation music but my favorite genre is usually heavy metal.
I love any kind of movies, but I feel especially touched by musicals.
Books...all of them! Currently reading both psyco-thrillers and travel biographies ("Tales of a female nomad"; "Eat, Pray; Love"; and so on)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming alone, and without speaking the language, all the way to the USA to live here. A year later I'm amazed by how easily I did something that would have normally terrified me.
