About Me

I'm a normal person, positive, friendly, easy-going, not-demanding.
I love to learn new things and I'm open to new experiences.
I like people in general and enjoy encountering new cultures and languages.
I could say that I'm an extroverted introvert.
I enjoy long, deep and meaningful conversations.
I like psychology, especially psychoanalysis.
I like playing instruments and singing.
I love nature, hiking, camping and skiing.

I like: the smell of cut grass, when I successfully flip the pancake, the sound of a beer can being opened.
I don't like: mosquito bites, conflicts, when the driver does not turn on the turn signal at the exit from the roundabout.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people from all over the world, meet them personally, in their "natural habitat", and through this connect with their culture and language. Furthermore, I want to see the destination through the eyes of a local, not a tourist, and experience as much as I can experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I don't have any specific genre, I listen all that caught my ear, mostly old rock and ethno stuff.
Movies: my favourite movie is Amelie, I find myself in her a lot. I love movies that are meaningful. My favourite genre is (sci)fiction (LOTR, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel etc.)
Books: I like novels, fiction and (slightly) philosophical books, like Dostoevsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I applied for Erasmus mobility which was my really big wish but I didn't have the courage to do that. I got the mobility and I'm going to Lisbon in September 😊

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure what do I have to write here. I took it as a section where I write what skills I can offer.
I can teach Croatian and Italian (I assume that everyone knows English). I play guitar, piano, a little bit of accordion and cajon, so I can teach that and music theory also. I am a scout, so I can teach all scouting skills (camping, hiking, making a fire, tying knots, etc.). I'm studying computer engineering so I have some programming knowledge which I can teach. I am a versatile person with many interests, so I have some basic knowledge in many things. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my time, my empathy, ability to listen, positivity, all my skills (cooking, cleaning, playing instruments, playing sports, babysitting, programming, gardening etc.) and lots of other things which I can't remember right now. Just try me :)
