Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I prefer to meet or skyp with the people who I'm going to host beforehand, so that we can get to know each other =)

I do have a guestroom (for max of 2 persons) with an orange couch in it :D, but I also enjoy to meet surfers for lunch/a drink/ just a coffee, etc. (would be fun if you would suprise me with other creativ ways in which we could meet, maybe bungee jumping? ..just kidding)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I made my first CouchSurfingExperience when I was on Interrail. After spending 48 hours on various railway stations and haunted trains (we had to change trains, which were supposed to be directly heading to our destination, 3 times...firstly because the train midway changed direction - maybe the train conductur wasn't feeling like Praha :D The second time the engin broke down?!)

Anyways, our journey found an end in Venlo at 3 a.m. ...and who happend to live there and came with the same train?
A CouchSurferHost, who turned out had worked in the city Wels, where I spent most of my time growing up... What a coincidence?!

Since then I fell in love with the adventure of CouchSurfing. I have meet a bunch of lovely people all over the world in Bangkok, KoPhiPhi, Istanbul, London, ... looking forward to meeting way more interesting locals =)

Music, Movies, and Books

Like all kinds of movies (but you won't succeed in getting me to watch a horror movie...gosh...I fear those way too much ^^ - bad experience )

Music:
from classic till african music, anything. But I would love to listen to your favourite bands!
My prefered playlist contains following artist:

Madsen, 2 raumwohnung, Anajo (German ones)
Noah and the Whale, Foster the People, The Beatsteaks, Nora Jones, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, Canned Heat,
Jezables, ...

My prefered books and movies are those that keep your mind going, contain an important message and help you to understand the world and the problems we have to be be aware of and solutions to deal with them.

Sometimes movies which distract your mind, like the typical typs of Hollywood movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Interrail -a ticket valid for any train in Europe-, what could influence and amaze one more than to travel through different countries in Europe in just one month?

Got to see sooo many cultures, which all were unique.

Teach, Learn, Share

Through talking and exchanging a variety of experiences we'll influence us and be able to teach one another.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malta, Morocco, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Austria, Spain
