Overview
About Me
21 years old Political Science student living in Rome..... but not for long I guess :)
I'm a very easy-going person, who likes to laugh, read, explore new places and learn new languages.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm quite new to couch surfing, but I am sure that being part of this community will be a great experience. The best part of traveling is actually getting to know the local people. Traveling as a tourist is not for me.
Interests
I love reading, listening to music, being alone -from time to time-, watching all kinds of movies -except the action ones probably-, listening to new stories and going for long walks out in the nature.
I am very interested in technology and topics relating to the environment, social welfare and sustainability. I am involved in several networks which work to defend human rights of refugees and animal rights.
I am super fascinated by the Middle Eastern world. I have lived for three months in Cairo (EG) as an Au-Pair two years ago. I am in love with the Arabic language, and I am trying to study it even though it is quite hard.
I enjoy going to concerts and art exhibitions.
Sometimes I like to go to some quite places and be on my own.
I love writing.
Oh and I HATE sports.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to almost everything -except Metal and House Music basically. Lately I have been caught by that alternative stream. I listen to many Italian and French 'alternative' groups. My favorite international groups are the Cure, the Smiths, Joy Division, New Order.
I read quite a lot. I'm not sure I have a favorite book, even though for quite a long time I have been very passionate about Sherlock Holmes' adventures. I love southern american literature (Marquez, Borges, etc), Egyptian novels and Japanese literature.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach anything that belongs to the Italian culture (food included) and some English.
I would be glad to share the experiences of my travels and some vegetarian recipes :)
I would love to learn anything that is new.
