About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to find my place in the world... as usual!

ABOUT ME

I don't like too much talking about myself, I prefer to act as I feel.
I think I could "define" myself as a funny girl, full of energies, sometimes a little bit wild, some other times shy, always with a smile on my face for everyone.

PHILOSOPHY

There is a light that never goes out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am living in Bogotá ,Colombia, with my husband. I have been a member of couchsurfing since 2009, but I had not been able to host in Bogotá before, because I was living in a shared flat. Now I have my own flat and a private room available for guests.
I like couchsurfing because it allows me to meet people from all over the world and to keep open minded and connected in a city that doesn't allow yo to connect with people so much. I think it is the best way to travel because you meet a lot of people and you can share experiences and knowledge with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in different Europe city with my best friend Elena (we had a shared CS profile at the very beginning, and we hosted people during our stay in Madrid, Spain). When I was living in Santa Marta (Colombia) I used to go out with a group of surfers, and here in Bogotá too, it is good to join them and have fun! For 2 years I took part of a group of CS volunteers that gathered every wednesday to volunteer in the city centre with homeless people.

Interests

Of course, I like travelling, getting to know new cultures, talking with people, I love wild nature and indigenous cultures, snorkeling, jazz and rock music (but I listen to almost everything), animals and tropical fruits.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A long trip through Colombia, Ecuador, Perú and Bolivia, all alone, in which I got to know a lot of people, I had the opportunity to watch the sun rise over Macchu Picchu, to sleep in the Ica desert under the stars... most wonderful thing I've seen during my trip was Isla del Sol en Titicaca lake!

Another amazing thing that happened to me is when I entered backstage at a Robert Plant concert and I met him, he offered me a beer, we talked a lot! My dream come true!
