About Me

Passionate, but distracted historian, Italian-born, but among things I hate most there is definitely being reduced to cultural stereotypes - though I might incarnate some of them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have plenty of friends and a boyfriend who has a master in Couchsurfing and totally persuaded me that couchsurfing is just the best thing in the world for travellers :)
Last year we traveled for three months in India and we ought all the best experiences we had to the Couchsurfing community. I'd be delighted to reciprocate your company and hospitality once I am back to Berlin!

Interests

Talking, talking, talking, learning from each other and creating together.

But do not worry if I might look quite shy at the beginning: I feel easily overwhelmed from new things, just give me my time and a glass of wine, and it will go faster ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

This is a tricky one! Maybe is it a better topic for a chat face to face?
As for books, I am quite omnivorous, from novels to essays :) it just has to take completely out of my everyday life.

Music: I definitely prefer any folk, acoustic one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 23 I moved to Berlin for 6 months, and after that to London to study abroad. Well, it's not a big thing, but that's how I have learnt I could make it alone, without any people from my home town, and meet new friends, learn new habits, feel home, learn new languages.

Remaining in touch with friends I've met, lived and shared a few hours, days or months with, even though we live far away from each other: tricky, but it's the most rewarding one!

And of course, lately, quitting my job(s) for three months traveling in India!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd really like to get a sense of your culture, your food, way(s) of thinking, share our stories, a few good hours or days. Get to know a new place with locals. Overcoming stereotypes together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook and prepare some Italian coffee (ehm, talking about cultural stereotypes ;) ...). Besides that, I can help with learning Italian and German, if that helps, and I am totally happy with any physical or creative work and with being in touch with people. And of course I share my stories, experiences and travels!
