CURRENT MISSION
Make new friends and meet old ones

Nine years ago I retired because of a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which forces me to use a wheelchair once in a while.
However ,it doesn't stop me from going around ,visiting new places and making new friends.
When at home, I enjoy my husband's company and study foreign languages.
We have two sons aged 31 and 29, who live abroad.
We've been SERVAS Members for 25 years, we hosted a lot of people from everywhere.
That's why I studied English,French and Spanish and German.
Now , Portuguese too.
I like to learn about new cultures and different habits.

Sono un medico in pensione a causa di una Sindrome da Stanchezza Cronica.
Amo molto viaggiare ed ospitare persone straniere per conoscere gli usi ed i costumi di altri popoli.
Amo la musica classica e le lingue straniere.
Parlo bene l'inglese, il francese, lo spagnolo ed il tedesco.
Ho da poco iniziato col portoghese.

PHILOSOPHY

I completely agree with the thoughts Kipling expressed in the letter he wrote to his son.
The letter is called "IF" and it's worth reading and studying and followning it.
A person who is able to act that way deserves a great respect.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm always ready to host friendly and well mannered people of all age when I'm at home and finally, I was hosted by a wonderful woman in Bremerhaven .
I spent one week in Weilburg and Radolfzell too. Other two fantastic experiences.
This group up 50 is amazing and much more reliable than younger people even though I have met great young people too.
I was on holiday in Poland in August 2017.
There, my husband and I had a great experience with the five new Couchsurfing friends we made.
It was a pleasure to spend time with them interacting in three different languages.
I'm going to repeat those wonderful experiences again soon.

兴趣

Classical music ( I used to play piano for many years).
Reading foreign books: Historical, novel and about famous investigators such as Maigret and Poirot .
I like wandering along cities ( especially those full of historical monuments), beaches or archeological sites.
When I'm tired, I really enjoy a good movie.

Seeing Indian car -drivers. Absolutaly unbelivable.
Vedere come guidano in India Sono pazzi!!!
Walking for three hours consecutively without my wheelchair in Sydney in March 2016 and having still pleanty of energy. Amazing!!
