Hi, I'm Chia Ying, or you can call me Louisa. I'm 22 year old. I am from Taiwan, a small beautiful island. I just started my student life in Tilburg, Netherlands, major in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Like most of you on Couchsurfing, I love to know different cultures, learning new languages, sharing with people and listening to people's stories.
I love to travel because not only it is the endless ultimate adventure but it also exposes you to new kinds of people, different ways of living, and opens up your mind. I like the feeling of being totally cut off from the predictable world of my daily life, immersed in the strangeness of the unknown. I love exploring a new city randomly, discovering every corner of the street and being surprised by the city itself. Getting lost and being spontaneous is part of the fun of visiting the new place.
Traveling always bring those Aha! moments that leave you speechless, then turn you into a storyteller and ignite the flame in others(or first burn inside yourself).
I'm infinitely passionate on photography when I'm travelling. What I love about photographs is that they capture every moment. They could be the best stories which failed to put into words. When I look back at photographs, they bring me back to such treasured moments I was experiencing, which I may have totally forgotten about.

Travelling inspires and educates me a lot by means of life experience, exchange of ideas and contact with people with an open mind heart. I've never tried Couchsurfing before. But I believe it would be truly amazing to get to know the locals and share stories about traveling and life, together with exciting, like-minded people.
