Hello everyone! I'm Isabel, from Chile, but I prefer that you call me Isa. I'm a little shy person and I blush easily when many people look at me at the same time. Sometimes I forget how to speak in public and I'm a bit clumsy. I love reading, cooking, running and traveling. I smile almost all the time and I love to listen to the stories that other people want to tell me. I think that sharing favorite songs, poems or books with someone, is showing them to part of our souls.

I like to go for a walk and talk with my friends, but I also love meeting new people every day and discovering what we have in common. My perfect day includes ice creams, pictures and smiles. My favorite walks are walking around the city and getting to know all of its historic buildings and museums. I don't know much about architecture, but I love the different styles of buildings around the world. I like nature almost as much as the city, I love the sea and my dream has always been to live a Christmas with snow. I don't need too elaborate rides or expensive activities, the best things in life are free and you can find them anywhere, if you know how to look.

My favorite food is usually the sweet. I love baking, ice cream and chocolate, but I'm always prepared to consume local dishes, especially if they are spicy and well seasoned. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but I would love to hear your recommendations for finding a good place to try this type of food.

Although I value and respect the silence, I'm a great conversationalist. I will be happy to hear the stories about your traveling adventures. I want you to tell me about your life and your vision of the world, because I can always learn something new.

My interests are mainly to travel (no matter if it is near or far), meet new people, make friends and discover places. I would like to learn to take beautiful pictures, to show my family the incredible places that exist in the world.

I'm very curious and I always want to know the opinions of people regarding almost anything. If you feel confident in me, do not hesitate to tell me all your worries, because I hope I can help you.

I do not drink alcohol, I do not smoke or use drugs. The parties are not my ideal panorama. Why spend the night drinking, if the next day you can wake up early and go for a walk?

I like outdoor activities, such as hiking and running. I love to eat fruits, especially wild berries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bought tickets to travel to Europe alone. At first it was only for holidays, but I decided that I want to stay in Germany for some years.

I think that leaving your country and your family, to live in a country that you do not know, where you do not have friends, is a very important decision. If there are ways to get out of the comfort zone, this is certainly one of them.

I want to be in an unknown place, I want to discover a city, I want to live new experiences every day, that my life is not planned and I have no clue as to where I will be tomorrow or what I will be doing.

Relax, nothing is under control.

I'm learning English, I can teach you Spanish and give you useful tips about Chile, if you are gonna travel there. I love writing, sending and receiving letters <3

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a punctual person, clean and organized. I respect the schedules of other people and I'm quite silent, if you do not like the noise. I like to take care of the environment, so I would love to help you if you recycle your trash or something.

If you accept me in your house, I will be very happy if you let me prepare breakfast. I can cook, help you with your pet or your children, clean, accompany you to the shopping in the market. Anything you need, if I can, I'll be happy to help.

If you want to share your day with me, I would love to do it. There is nothing better than knowing a place by the hand of your local people.
