About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Bring the train to the people and the world to my home

ABOUT ME

I am a relaxed person. I love water and riding my E-Bike, I don't eat meat and hardly drink alcohol.
Attention: I do not have a coffee machine at home!
I work too much but I will have time for you. I go to bed around 10pm.
I prefer people who are silent.

Please absolutely no smoking!

PHILOSOPHY

Travel now - doesn`t matter, in which (family, financial, work) situation you are, if you want to travel. There will never come better times than today.

Smile - and you get a smile back.
Believe - and it will be real.

Give your experiences to the world and bring others back home. You have the power to make people happy - there and here.

When you die, you die alone, so learn to be alone while you are living.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I simply met someone who told me about CS and I said: NO, this is nothing for me. Now, 2 years later, I met her again and my living situation changed. Today I say: YES, CS is wonderful.

People can change their mind...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted an Istanbul woman in January 2011 for 2 nights.
A couple from Buenos Aires were on my couch in 2/2011.
I hosted Erika from US in March/2011.
A hosted Hildegard from Austria in April/2011.
A couple from US were on my couch May/2011.
And some more since then....

I surfed 3 nights in Oulu, Finland in March 2011.

Interests

I love spanish. Spanish is like holiday with sun and endless beaches, jungles and vulcanos, as well as happy people in Latin America.

I am a traveller but I work 9 hours a day in the office - Crazy? Yes.
I love to be in the mountains (hiking, nature, snowboarding) and on the water (Kayak, Swimming, Cruise..)
I participate on Zürichs` monday night inline-skate events.
I love bike-tours in the nature.
Yoga & meditation became recently a part in my life.

When I am "old" and I have enough patient I will learn how to play a clarinet.

The most often I can I am using trains as they are very interesting and additional invironmental friendly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Happy people around the world, because they do not have our (high level) problems.

Petra in Jordania is the most impressiv place I ve been. I am always impressed about jungles and volcanos and happy people in poor countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot of places and his people. Maybe I can share my ideas of a friendly common peaceful world.

Enjoy what you have - and give, what you can.

Realise that each person, each city and each country is different, but don`t think, you are the only happy person....
