About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to know myself and to know the world.
ABOUT ME
I am a 30 year old woman with a dog named precious. independent and outgoing are just a few things things that describe me. I grew up in Southern California and grew up pretty rough. My father is a Mexican immigrant and my mother was born in Los Angeles. (i am a 7th generation Californian on my mothers side!) I just graduated from law school, will be taking the bar exam soon and hope to work as a public defender or in immigration law when i return from traveling. I identify as a Chicana which expresses both my ethnic and political identity.
PHILOSOPHY
Love. its the most important above all. but i realize that i must love myself before i can love others. so for now my philosophy is : I am whole and have value even if no one else tells me so. as i am conquering that hopefully i can love those around me along the way.

I enjoy physical activities like hiking, running, yoga and biking. I LOVE MUSIC. most types. I love to dance. I think I'm a pretty good dancer. Or at least i have rhythm! I love reading, mostly non-fiction and mostly authors of color. Learning is something that i try to do everyday. Listening and reflecting are two of the best ways that i find i learn. Writing is something i have started doing recently.
