ABOUT ME

We currently live near Sacramento, CA, but are mostly unable to host there. However, we also share a family cabin in Tahoe City that we love to host at when we can coordinate our trips there with other's--generally we host someone for New Years in Tahoe when we can. If you are visiting Sac, we'd love to show you around and talk/drink, even if we don't have a couch available.

About us: Evan is TALL (6'6") and I am NOT (5'4"). Evan likes rocks (geologist) and I like books (English major). Also, let me know if you want to buy some insurance! Thrilling :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We surfed a couple of time on our backpacking trip through Europe in spring 2010, but mostly we have hosted some awesome people in Tahoe!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kaylen: I've sat at the top of the Acropolis overlooking Athens listening to Jason Mraz by myself. Solitary moments in amazing places really inspire me.

Both: We've stood in a tiny alley in Florence, Italy, listening to opera (La Traviata) pipe through a small open window from the opera house.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ummm... well I'm an English major, so I suppose I can teach English??? I can discuss Shakespeare or other Renaissance drama :)
