CURRENT MISSION

My chief mission is to wake up each morning and be in the best possible mood I can be in thankful I am still alive and mobile, eager to see what there is to be learned today.

ABOUT ME

..am a gregarious person ... I spend my time gardening, building things, traveling via motorcycle solo for the most part,….i have a lovely wife who was my high school sweetheart, and a wonderful daughter. I am a very good photographer I am told, darn good cook, and can fix just about anything around the home: plumbing, electrical, etc… other than automobiles ....I read a lot, am able to communicate easily. I don’t take things too seriously, realize that variety in all things is what makes life a wonderful experience, ...not a big drinker, a glass or two of wine in the evening once I am done with driving... ... Am not a coffee drinker, a loose tea guy, ... Hate hotels having stayed in millions of them, and much prefer the company of not yet met friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a person well aware of how fleeting the moment is, that which we call a life, and how forces are at work to bend you to life choices that benefit the society you live in...I understand words and concepts such as kindness, apologies, anger, strength, weakness, fear and courage, and love.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

no formal couch surfing experiences, unless you call sharing one room farmers homes in southeast asia couch surfing...generally there are no couches there, at least i rarely if ever saw one.

Done: traveling solo for months on end in countries where I could not speak a lick of the language yet never had any difficulty that could not be creatively solved one way or the other.

Seen: amazing ways people solve problems in everyday life with just the most basic of tools.

On the practical side, can share much knowledge regarding photography, home repair, cooking concepts, gardening experiences, garden design, ...too many things to list.

Things I'd most like to learn is more mechanical skills,..internal combustible engine,(makes it easier to repair my own bike)and would like to understand almost more about everything.
