ABOUT ME

Not sure where to start... Absolutely LOVE meeting new people and making new friends, as well as going on crazy, unplanned adventures. This seems like a great website to do just that. =) I don't get to travel nearly as often as I'd like to, but I'm hoping this will get me started.

I work full time at a hair salon in Tampa. I absolutely love what I do, the team I work with and the man I'm working for. Life couldn't have brought me to a better place! The only thing that bums me out about it is it's a very demanding industry to be in and it takes up the majority of my time, so I don't get to go on as many adventures out of the country as I'd like. So, that being said, I like to host travelers, however my couch status is constantly changing to convene with my work events. =( However, mini road trips are a blast still, and I do get one big vacation once a year so I plan to do my out-of-country traveling with that time. =)

In my free time I enjoy riding my bike long distances, or going to the indoor rock climbing gym in Tampa. I love being active!! When the summers roll around I'm at the beach at least once a week. It's my stress reliever. I love to go there and just appreciate the beauty that Florida has to offer. Another reason why I want to travel more, haha. I can adjust to any atmosphere in order to have a good time, and get along with everyone I meet.

I read Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane about 5 years before the film came out. GREAT BOOK.

A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah was very moving, about the life of a boy soldier in Africa and his memoirs.

The Secret made me view things in a new light. "If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change"

Paul Mitchell by Jocelyn Fujii, wow, what an amazing life he had. Getting to know the man behind the company I represent couldn't be more interesting. I hold such high respect for this man and all of his accomplishments throughout his life.
