ABOUT ME

I am a freelance travel photographer and travel blogger. I love meeting people and experiencing new cultures. I love sharing my stories with through photography or through my writing of some of the interesting people I meet around the world.

Hmm, what do my friends tell me about me? They tell me I am a good guy, kind of quiet at times, and bit quirky at times too. I seem to be the level headed one that people go to. Friends know me as the party animal, but in actuality I am not, (I just enjoy beers).

What I say about me is that I am a geek, and love it. I love design of all type, artistic and creative people just interest me.

I love learning about people, especially those who have grown up with a different life experience than my own. I love hearing stories and learning about people.

I love taking photographs. Mostly of my travels. I love getting people doing every day things, and showing off different cultural events.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life living life. Do not worry about what happened yesterday, do not worry about tomorrow. Enjoy the moment you are in now.

If you don't try things out, you will never learn, doing is the key to learning.

Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Batman Begins, Howl's Moving Castle, Yojimbo, 13 Assassins, Oldboy, The Chaser, Amelie, A very Long Engagement and other Foreign Films (outside of the US), and Independent films.

Music: Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Massive Attack, M83, Justice, Naked and Famous, Within Temptation, Epica, Thievery Corporation, Basically dowbeat music, alternative, metal and hard rock.

Books: Mostly geeky stuff like Fire and Ice series, Lord of the Rings, Forgotten Realms and Anne Rice books. Also a lot of philosophical books, mostly on meditation and buddhism.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The most amazing and breathe taking experience I have ever had was the 4 days in Kashmir. It is the most amazing place I have seen. I took many amazing photos, one of which has been published. It was a great experience and I learned a lot about a new culture to me.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I used to be an Instructor for Apple, teaching photography concepts and who the application Aperture. I love teaching others who to take wonderful photographs and how to travel cheaper.

I want to learn all types of skills in my life. The more skills I learn the better I can know about myself.
