Overview
About Me
A big lover of museums, history, baking, and yoga besides my love to science. I am fond of finding the similarities and differences between cultures and thinking about the reasons behind. I love learning new things from many aspects. My philosophy of life is to do it if you really want. Imagine if I die tomorrow and I regret about something I never did that will be miserable. Traveling is not only something I love but something I want to live with for my rest of life although I also enjoy doing science. It’s not easy to distribute my time beside work but I will try to see the world as much as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
-To meet and learn from open-minded people from different cultures. I love learning new things, which keeps my brain flexible ;)
It’s interesting that I always meet a lot of open-minded people on CS and I think this is the best place to connect to other people :D
After a few CS, I met a few good friends and we did visit each other from time to time!
- Be a host. When I have no time to travel, it is nice to see the world by getting to know the people from the world! They bring the world to me :)
-After traveling alone several times, I realized that being a solo traveler owns freedom, but I also like to connect to the people. That’s how I think about human, being independent but keeping connected to others. I like to have nice and deep conversations (probably with a little nerdy and geek style if you don’t mind ;)).

Teach, Learn, Share
-Languages. I am currently learning German, any small talks in German will be fun :D
-Ukulele. Not professional but I've learned Ukulele for 1 year, and I have a small one (21') with me! (Unless I am in a Backpacker trip:p)
-Traveling. It would be nice to share all the crazy or interesting stories in the trip with CS.
What I Can Share with Hosts
-Languages. If you are learning Chinese and/or Taiwanese, I would be happy to have teach you some and have a basic conversation ;)
-Ukulele. Not professional but I could play songs to you.
-Cooking/baking. As working in the lab, I can be a good cooker/baker ;) I can share Taiwanese dishes which might be different from Chinese dishes.
-Traveling. If you ever plan to visit Taiwan/Munich, I can share where to go, what to eat, and what to do! ;)
-Friendship. I personally like to become friends with my hosts so that we can visit each other in our cities or anywhere in the world. :)
