ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Chih-Hao Cheng, a 24 years old student comes from Taiwan! I hope to see many different lifestyles before I start my life's journey. Therefore, I apply for the exchange student program to Germany after finishing my master degree. I like to experience the world in a different way.

I'm now living in Jena, Germany. My room is close to Jena Göschwitz train station, where you can go to Weimar in 20 mins. If you plan to visit Jena and Weimar then I can show you around.

I think I am a kind of person positive, open-minded, but quite humble. In addition, I think I am a good listener but not kind of talkative person.

My English is well enough for communication. Besides, now I'm learning German but just a beginner. My mother language is Mandarin Chinese so if you are learning Chinese , you can also practice Chinese with me:)

I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to meet different people while traveling. Compared with visiting tourist attractions, spending time on making new friend is what I like better.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have tried couchsurfing in some Taiwanese students' room in Berlin and London, and all of them are amazing and unforgettable! Therefore I want to try more couchsurfing in different cities and meet more friends:)

Interests

I enjoy many outdoor activities, like marathon running, long-distance open water swimming, surfing, and snorkeling.
I am also a certified lifeguard coach in Taiwan and I have learned how to drive IRB(Inflatable Rescue Boat).

Besides, I enjoy cooking. I can cook many traditional Taiwanese food like Braised pork and Chinese drunken chicken.
