Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm a Fukuoka local woman, normally living with a student from Japanese language school.
My place has only 1 bed room and I live in my living room! haha
Most of students from language school have only tourist visa, so my roommates changes a lot (Former roommates are from India/U.S, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Tasmania, Denmark, France).
Only when I don't have roommates, I can host travelers.
Now I'm living with a British girl. So currently there's no space for guests. But feel free to have time with me when you visit Fukuoka!
I'm open minded and easy going happy person.
Currently I'm really into Slavic culture (language, foods, fashion, music, dance).
I've been to Poland and Ukraine. My current dream is living in Poland and visit Ukraine, Russia and other nearby countries.
Also I've been greatly affected by south Indian culture and I respect our own Japanese culture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hosting
I love travelling, but it's difficult to keep doing it all the time. Even when I'm in Japan, meeting people from foreign countries makes me feel that I'm on a trip. And to learn their culture, language and tips helps me a lot.
Also, I want to give back the kindness that I had given during my past travels.
Surfing
I want to know local people's ordinary life. And I like to see the room interior and decoration.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2002, I went to 5 rock festivals.
(Fuji rock festival,Glastonbury festival, Rock in Japan, Kit pop hill, Rising sun rock festival)
It was hard to get enough money and holidays, so I bought 2days ticket for Fuji rock festival, that means I had to skip the last day and get back to job right after the fes.
But the night before my departure from fes, the wonderful camp fire and beer made me not to say good bye to my fes pals and go home alone. So I asked my drunk friend what should I do. He suggested me to ask Joe Strummer who had been drinking by the camp fire. It was a funny idea because Joe didn't know us at all, but I was drunk enough to ask Joe. Then drunk Joe says 'No problem' and ripped off his friend's wristband for fes crew and put it on my wrist with duct tape!! I know it's kind of illegal and I won't do it again, but Joe was super friendly, amazing and funny:-)
He passed away in December of that year. I'll never forget the greatest memory of him.
...Oops, that's one amazing thing Joe has done.
My experiences are,
1. I finished 114km walking. It took like 23 hours, I was so slow...
2. I spent 1 year only with kimono (not wearing western clothes) except 2 days of health exam/dance lesson.
