Overview
About Me
Hey guys! My name is Chih-Ling, Hung.
I'm a Taiwanese and I love my country so much.
I've lived in Dajia District of Taichung City for 22 years.
But I had lived in Shoufeng Township of Hualien County for 4 years because of my university (2015-2019).
My friends think I'm an optimistic, generous and attentive person.
However, I'm still understanding who I am.
I think chat with other people is the best way to know yourself.
Maybe we can have a chat if I could have this pleasure! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to make good use of my exchange student period to explore this world.
Couchsurfing can let me know many cool and amazing friends.
To me, exploring the world is by not only visiting those tourist attractions but also making friends with foreigners (and Taiwanese lol).
Actually, my sister is also on Couchsurfing.
She encourages me to use Couchsurfing and I've hosted some people with her.
I have many wonderful experiences with my sister's Couchsurfers.
I believe I will have the same feeling with you as well!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ride the ten-year-old 100 c.c. scooter from my university (in Hualien) to Wuling(武嶺)!!
Wuling is the highway highest point of Taiwan, with an elevation of 3,275M(10,746ft).
Making a round trip needs to spend about six to seven hours and total 236km!
My friend and I didn’t sleep. We just rode our scooters in midnight only for watching the sunrise!
Yes it sounds so crazy and tired.
However, it’s exactly the one amazing thing I’ve done!! Haha
I was an "incense burner head (爐主)" and the Mazu statue had lived my home for one year.
Also, I participated in "Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage activity" and walked almost 200km in six days.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm still learning how to talk with people and trying to know myself more.
I can share some Taiwanese culture and my life with you.
Moreover, I can teach you Taiwanese (a dialect of Taiwan which is really different from Chinese)!
