Rookie backpacker who encourage herself to travel in the past two years. Before that, she prefer to stay on her couch and travel from the pages of books. Nevertheless, she is brave enough to go solo and well-managed everything on her own. Turned out, she loves to discover new places and cultures and looking foward to dwell on series of adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most of the time Chiki does solo travelling, eventhough she enjoy it so much sometimes she's wondering that the trip will be way more fun if there's someone to talk to. Wandering around, share stories, experiences, perspective, and mutual understanding will be cool!

Music, Movies, and Books

She enjoys listen to alternative music such as Arctic Monkeys, The Last Shadow Puppets, The Temper Trap, Cigarettes After Sex, Kodaline, Of Monster and Men, Stars and Rabbit, Honne. Not mention to her all time favorite My Chemical Romance, Coldplay, SIA, Paramore, Muse, Jason Mraz, Adhitia Sofyan, etc.

Most of the time, Chiki loves reading well-researched fiction novels. Her Indonesian favorite authors are Okky Madasari, Ayu Utami, Dewi Lestari, Eka Kurniawan, Leila S Chudori, and Tasaro GK.

She doesn't watch movies as often as she reads or listens to music. But Chiki enjoys to watch biopic, based-on-true-story, and mind-blowing movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First time out of her cave, Chiki managed to explore Dieng Plateau on her own. She find it very challenging because travelling (solo), especially as woman, in Indonesia is not easy. Later, she wandered to Singapore, all by herself once again. With companion of a friend, she has visited Lombok and Bangkok.

To collect sense of confidence on her trips, she always make sure to well-researched everything and well-arranged her itinerary. On the show, she never forget to visit museums.
