Hello, I am Rex from Canton,China and have been living in Paris since 2018. I am a PhD student on sociolinguistics (language shift) and currently live in Kuala Lumpur for my research.

I love reading, music (mainly electronic), scuba diving and I am also an active Wikipedia editor trying to contribute more translated articles from English to Chinese! Travelling, to be honest, is a solid part of my soul ;) In 2016 I took a half-year gap for traveling across Eurasia, from China far till Murmansk in Russia and Israel. I’ve left my footprints in every Southeast Asian countries, and I have been volunteer in India while I was 20, with my journey in the country, north till Himalayas and south reaching Ceylon and Tamil Nandu, arousing my deep curiosity and passion for different cultures and histories.
