I'm a college student that has the itch to travel. I'm always looking to get away to meet new friends, be surprised about the world and myself, learn something fascinating, appreciate the beauty. I'm 23 and I still haven't a clue what I want to do the rest of my life, so I travel, hoping I might figure it all out. Yet, I always come back with more questions. I love it!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I took a trip to southeast asia before joining the military. I Couchsurfed in Thailand, Malaysia and Laos. I stayed with some amazing people that I would never have met without CS and I'm grateful I had that opportunity. Everyone I have met through CS has made me feel like I was part of their family, taught me about themselves and where they live, and have genuinely been the kindest people I've met traveling. Can't wait to get out there again. Just hope I can return the favor later on.

Traveling (well that's given) I've always loved the outdoors, meeting new people, learning about other cultures, food, adventure, history, literature and science.
A good beer, the outdoors and someone with good conversation will make me at peace.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I probably watch way too many movies but I love them. Wes Anderson and Christopher Nolan films.

Really been into some 80's 90's era hip-hop lately, but I pick a new genre of music I obsess over every few months or so.

Books: I love to read! Some of my favorite authors: Jack London, Jeff Long, Chuck Palahniuk, Hemingway, Steinbeck, Hesse. Any book that may challenge my world view will likely become a favorite.

I used to be a photojournalist, and love to talk about world issues, writing, photography and the power and importance of news. Science geek. Magnets, how do they work?
I also love showing people this beautiful place I live at. Taking them on hikes, going out to the local bars and eating great food.
Also enjoy cooking, learning new dishes.
And of you're into art, I'm all for doing some art!
