ABOUT ME
Pretty active guy when I am not buried in the lab or crunching out papers! I have visited about 40 of the US states (I dont count 'em if I only flew into a city for a few days) and 5 Canadian provinces. I plan to tread lightly across the rest, or most of the rest, by the time I graduate in a couple years. Ah, money and time, money and time...
I love to get out. I love to meet new people and taste new foods and learn a bit about where I am along the way. Postcards and bumper stickers are for the tourists. Give me a bivy sack and a mountain sunrise any day. But cities can be an adventure in their own right - like the markets in Boston, Chinatown in Philly, D.C. at night, or sunsets in San Diego. And dont get me started on all the awesome foods from restaurants tucked into back alleys to an ethnic deli to lunch counters. The world is a banquet for the senses. Lets eat.

PHILOSOPHY
tread lightly, play nice with others, and remember that pissing off karma can be a real bummer.

I'd say my style of couchsurfing has changed quite a bit from those days tho!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
ask me when you see me- over coffee or a nice local beer. comparing each other's notes is a great way to get yourself into an old-fashioned pissing contest. some of the world's best yarns had such small beginnings ))
