About Me
Please read the description of my home before sending a request.
Current Mission:
Me and some friends brought into existence an orphanage in Togo. Plenty of more ideas are being developped in cooperation with our Togolese partner and it will be exciting to see the project grow: http://www.place-togo.de/
ABOUT ME
I finished university a few years ago and currently try to sort out all the oportunities which are out there waiting for me now. It's exciting! After 50+ countries visited and six years living abroad, it feels nice to be back in Germany.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests
I do love good food, so I am always up for that and happy to learn some new recipies. I receive weekly deliveries of a local organic farm, so if you are lucky, you'll be able to try some of their incredibly fresh and tasty fruits/vegetables.
Lets discuss the rest over a beer or a wine at my/your place.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in a Caribbean beach village, swimming with sharks and sea turtles, surviving the rainy season in the world's wettest capital (Monrovia), travelling tens of thousands of kilometers in shabby cars on roads riddled with potholes, harvesting yams, getting drunk on home-brewed beer with village elders discussing gender-equality, shaking hands with a baby chimpanzee, sitting in a car which is going the wrong way on a highway, being robbed & mugged BUT meeting far more hospitable people at all places I have visited, driving a pickup through the Algerian desert, finding picture-perfect paradises in the most unexpected places, roasting marshmellows over vulcano lava, receiving an electrical under water msaasge in a Japanese bath house (to be continued!)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to prepare deep-fried plantains (the better version of French Fries)
