ABOUT ME

i earned my degree in one of the least marketable areas in this day and age: history. while i understand the world better, i feel it understands me less. call it soul searching if you will, but i'm also out to prove that there's nothing like great conversation over a pint or a bottle of wine

PHILOSOPHY

i think we only have a short amount of time on this planet, and whether we go somewhere from here or not, we have to make the best of our time. we need to get to know one another and make this place better for the next generations. live deliberately

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've Couchsurfed in 8 or 9 countries so far, and have hosted from just as many, and I consider this an opportunity that is not found anywhere else. I love introducing surfers to my friends and our way of life in Buffalo, and experiencing the same in other places around the world.

the sunset at the grand canyon after crawling out following a night at the bottom. the experience was harrowing, almost losing one of my friends on a first time backwoods hike, and the sunset over the majestic canyon once we got out was breathtaking
