As the second proudest South African in Johannesburg, I spend most of my time showing foreigners and locals alike how awesome my city and country are... or hanging off a mountain

ABOUT ME

I am an adventurous mountain person, who is happiest when hanging off a rock, climbing a mountain or running a trail. I run an exploration society, called the African Club of Explorers with some friends, and I can be bribed to do pretty much anything with a good toasted cheese sandwich or cold beer.

I have hosted a number of people and most of the experiences have been great. I love being able to share a little part of my experience of being South African to other interested people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite authors are John Irving, Jonathan Safran Foer, Yann Martel, Andre Brink. I love any movies by Wes Anderson, the Cohen Brothers, Tim Burton. I listen to all music, but my favourite band in the whole world is Rural Alberta Advantage.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
