Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To adventure and experience the world strait up no regrets.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Texas and moved to San Antonio to attend school. I have lived out in the country and most of my life and now live in the city. Work lets me travel and pays for the basics
PHILOSOPHY
Play good music, surround yourself with good company, and engage in aggravating conversations. Ego is the enemy, the cure is living in the now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted for years and traveled around the US couchsurfing. Love camping as an Eagle Scout, but I love staying with people in new places more. When I was new to my job I didn't take in surfers, but now that I have more certainty that I'll be able to be a good host, I am happy to open up my home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I spent my summer of 2011 in Boulder Colorado couchsurfing for a month. What a great experience! I loved everyone I met and had a great time couch hopping all over that place. Hosting surfers is the best part and getting to stay with people traveling is the reward.
Interests
I like to hike during the week and camp on the weekends when possible. I will cook a fantastic dinner when I know someone is coming over. Afterward, I would like to talk about travels, books, and food. I like playing chess most, but I have other games for group fun.

Music, Movies, and Books
SciFi books are great. Love the Writing Excuses podcast for discussions on literature. Work associates like kung fu moves, so I've been watching more 70's hong kong cinema lately.
Favorite music: Ratatat, The Books, The Kooks, Akron Family, Boards Of Canada, Bright Red Paper, Caribou, Ghostland Observatory, Grizzly Bear, M. Ward, Matt Costa, Menomena, MGMT, Nickel Creek, Of Montreal, Phoenix, Pink Martini..... Indie, Bluegrass, Blues, Symphony, Rock, Instrumental, and Electronic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I watched a sunrise from the highest mountain in the Rockies.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Chess, Texas cooking, and sightseeing.
I want to learn everything, if you're willing to teach.

A peaceful house
