I love exploring new places and cultures and meeting new people through travelling. I hate short whirlwind tours. My type of travel is to really get immersed in the culture and learn from locals about the place (history, politics, culture, etc.). This is what appeals to me about Couchsurfing :) By trade, I have been a journalist for the last decade, so I've got a natural curiousity about everything. I've also got a really quiet and introverted flip-side to that, so after travel spurts I often need long periods to recoup where I'm stationary and introspective.

I am responsible, reliable, respectful and considerate of space, belongings, property and the people around me. I love animals, especially cats. I like going out and having fun, but the amount of energy I have can vary quite a bit, so sometimes I just need to accept that I have a limited amount of it. I value directness and open and honest communication.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Although I've done pretty extensive travelling for years now, this is actually my first time using couchsurfing. I'm gearing up for a road trip across California with my buddy in March. Really excited to check out the West Coast as this will be my first time in California!
