CURRENT MISSION

Updated: 2019 - Havent logged on to couchsurfing for a long while. So will update profile when I have a chance. My philosophies on life are still the same, although I would say that I am a much calmer person now. I work as an English teacher. Decided to leave the Kitchen world behind about 5 years ago! I still haven't Biked the Camino de Santiago but I did walk the Northern Coastal part for 2 weeks, and,what an amazing experience that was.

A part from soaking in everything I can, I dream of Biking "El Camino de Santigo" in Northern Spain, Living in Paris & Vienna to studying pastry, Wondering the streets of Morroco, Working in Southeast Asia. While spreading well-being with each encounter.

ABOUT ME

Usually labeled as a "TCK Kid". Born in the USA but grew up in Spain in my late teens. Expat, very adventurous, independent, love all sports, enjoy going out for coffee/tea and cakes or tapas.
I usually laugh -too much-- And am strange mix of introverted with being extremely social. Full of a passion and wonder for life. I am very open-minded and laid back and like meeting similar individuals :-D
I usually cherish and take care of the close friends that I allow into my circle.
I'm at my happiest when lost in the mountains, hiking, camping, exploring, martial arts or biking.

Love for Cava and chocolate Truffles, old maps, wood-craved boxes, Tile, Sunflowers, Poppies and books.
Silent writer of life and poetry and a personal philosopher.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophies are always evolving through passing time & experience.
Currently exploring the thought of inner magnetism and having respect for your life and the people around you. Don't look back saying "I'll come back to it"...Do what your soul is inspiring you to do then and there because that one moment will be gone! :) In other words..."Live the moment" - but unselfishly.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy playing tour guide, showing off my favorite corner spots in the city. Sitting around drinking whiskey, red wine, or Spanish liquors, or in coffee shops, and chatting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had some very awesome people come stay at my place! Lots of wine, walking tiny streets, Jumping in the sea while it was raining, Eating in my favorite restaurant or going on a wild sporadic road trip that involved sleeping in an open cave next to the sea and on the side of the road in a not very well hidden area! hahaha or Dancing funny-style like there was no tomorrow.

Intereses

I have so many interests. I love experiencing life. There is so much to do, see, and feel. To wrap up a few of the things I enjoy: Poetry, Sports, Biking, Marathons, Cooking, Politics, Reading, Writing, Running, Adventure, Hiking, exploring, Business Management, Cake decorating, Spending time with family and friends, listening to Live music, learning Languages, Drinking wine or Whiskey! :)

Música, películas y libros

My music preference is a mix of Heavy Metal, Gothic, Rock, Indie, Avangarde and Alternative music.
But I really enjoy all types of expression from classical piano, cello, violin, downtempo Jazz, Rap,& Dance. Just depends on my mood.
I enjoy reading and watching some TV Series every now and then. Absolutely Love going to the theater!

Algo increíble que he hecho

Mountain Forest - jogging at 2am in the pouring rain, mud, and moon light. Reaching the church on the top, sneakily climbing over two metal gates to get the upper terrace.

Wondering the streets and riding in the buses of Bolivia alone.
Eating roasted Armadillo from a street stall then racing a quad through a muddy river, lost breaks and control, ramming into a tree- Flying through the air like Superman ;)Or or, That time we jumped off a 30ft bridge into an ice cold river bed as a large truck zoomed passed us. :-p :)
The latest: Hiking and climbing over rocks and bushes up a very steep mountain and then climbing over the walls of an abandoned fortress that over looked the Spanish town below.
