How do you shove your entire personality in a little box? I love books and music and new cities and new people, good food and conversation and wine and gin. I want to never stop learning. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I jump to conclusions. I don't judge. I stop and smell the roses. I love to cook and baking is my meditation, except that yoga is also my meditation.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Don't really know what to say here. I host when I can and do my damndest to make sure any CS experience with me as a host or a guest is a positive one that leaves the other party better then they were before I got there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed like crazy in San Fran summer of 07, 3 hosts in 10 days. I've also hosted a few times. That was back when I was living in Chicago. Every experience was great, I've met some very cool people and made some far-flung friends.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Last night was Chinese New Year and me and some friends snuck into an apt. building a buddy sometimes uses to shoot stock footage of the Shanghai skyline. We had a bottle of Jonnie black and some green tea and another bottle of the 'yak. the good stuff. Remy.
Anyway. we get up to the rooftop, 33 stories up around 11pm and we can see little pockets of fireworks poping off around the city.

As midnight approached more and more explosions all over the city. We could see for miles and the sound was incredible, a non-stop chest pumping thud as moarter after moater was launched skyward sending beautiful flowers of fire into the night air. I'm standing in a corner looking off toward pudong watching a particulary amazing display and loving that I get to see each in double as the lights reflect off of nearby skyscrapers. Suddenly from directly below someone starts setting some off and they were exploding directly in front of us, any closer and it would have been dangerous but as the sparks rained down directly over us it was indescirbeable.
