About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to live joyously, passionately, divinely and utterly, utterly with love

ABOUT ME

I was born in Shanghai but grew up in Sydney.

I'm studying to become a town planner. I love places where people live - villages, towns, cities. But most of all cities. Cities excite me. There's a certain buzz in cities that's so damn addictive.

I've only recently started travelling overseas (excluding trips back to China with my parents, that is). Before that, I did travelled a fair bit around the east coast of Australia during my semester breaks.

Interests

Visual arts (particularly photography and street art), music, theatre, festivals, markets, nature, outdoors, travelling (of course!), conversations, architecture, gender politics, sustainability

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending New Years Eve by Lake Toba in Indonesia last year. My friend and I stayed in a traditional Batak house by the lakeside which was very serene. The lake itself was really still. I could clearly hear the live music performed at a home stay on the other side of the lake. As the new year ticked over, we watched the locals set off fireworks around the lake. Because it was so dark, the fireworks were much more illuminated.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you skills in how to analytically deconstruct a place or space. That is, after all, what I study. I can also teach English and Chinese. Lastly, I can show you how to make traditional Shanghai food.

I'm always curious for new knowledge.
