About Me
Hi!
Well, you should ask my friends ;-) but I think they would say I am a pretty nice person, easy to talk to both about serious and funny topics. I travelled to a lot of places, yet and used to live in Shanghai, China for a whole year. I love getting to know people from different cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really like to meet new people and couchsurfing is a great way to learn about somebody's perspective of his/her city. I think that way both sides have a much more vivid experience, get deeper memories, learn about different cultures in a very personal way and it can be much better to meet nice people and have fun than just staying in a hotel. And maybe you even make new friends that way.
Interests
I am always very curious therefore I really have many different interests.
Since I live in Berlin I really love to explore the food, coffee and craft beer scene here which is constantly growing. I enjoy good food from everywhere and eating is definitely one of the best things in life!!! :-)
I started singing many years ago and have sung in different choirs and also sing solo. That always cheers me up.
I also like different kinds of sports, love going to the movies or to concerts.
The best thing to do in my free time is still to meet with my friends and just spending time together.

I listen to many kinds of music and it really depends on my mood but I really like swing, singer songwriting, funk, classic music, 80's and many more.
If I write all the movies down I love I sit here the whole night. Let's talk about that when I stay with you.
Just a few books I like: Liao Yiwu "The Corpse Walker"; Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie "Americanah"; Patrick Süskind "Das Parfum"; Jonathan Safran Foer "Extremly loud and incredibly close"; Carlos Ruiz Zafón "La sombra del viento"...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I played in a movie in Shanghai together with Ralph Fiennes. Ok, I admit I was only an extra ;-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some Chinese and things about China or of course tell you about my home country Germany. If you like we can cook or bake or just eat together because having a good meal together is just a great thing to spend time together.
