About Me

I am Chinatsu from Japan. I have been in Australia for 6 months. I am in Australia for working holiday. I was in Melbourne, Tasmania and Cairns before I came on the Gold Coast. I love traveling, surfing, scuba diving, etc... I studied English in California, the United States for one year in 2013. I had the internship in Hawaii for 3 months in 2011. I would love to meet new people through couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I love meeting new people and do not really want to spend too much money for a place to stay, I really want to try couchsurfing while I am traveling to other cities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I pretty much listen to any kinds of songs, but I especially like Jack Johnson, Colbie Caillat, Jason Mraz and Bruno Mars. I love watching movies, also any kinds, but comedy is my favorite. I read all the books of Harry Potter and The Hunger Game. My favorite author is John Green.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I had the internship in Hawaii, I got PADI license of scuba diving there and went to the tour of the sunken ship. I could actually go inside of the ship and it was pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to teach kids English in Japan. I am really interested in learning other languages. I have so many friends all over the world since I studied abroad and made lots of friends there, so they taught me how to introduce myself in their languages and they made me feel like want to study more and more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make some traditional Japanese food, such as sushi and okonomiyaki. I can teach you Japanese too.
