About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Sing to life and old! :D

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm a 27-year-old girl live in Taiwan (Taipei city, north part in Taiwan), which is a beautiful island country near China. I'm a graduate student in National Taiwan University, major in cognitive psychology, and I'm interested in learning and teaching. I also play Chinese traditional game of Go, and represented Taiwan to play Go games at the 2008 World Mind Sports Games (WMSG) in Beijing.
In 2013, my boyfriend started his world round trip, and I joined him from July 30th to August 21th. That's my first experience to couchsurfing abroad.

I'm a curious girl and like to know more about the world, meet different people, listen, and talk with them to realize their thoughts. So if there is a chance, I hope we could meet together in the near future and have a good time together! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Love conquers all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Give my true heart and I'll recieve one as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing and hosting before I registered in this website, and enjoy meeting friends and sharing our experiences together. I traveled with my boyfriend two years ago and had couchsurfed at Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Finland and Stockholm. Many thanks to the people who shared something with us during the journey, I really like you very much! :)

Interests

In fact, I like different things in different ages such as:

1. Intellectual Games:
I Play Go games since I was six, and participated in numerous competitions so far. I also like Bridge (a kind of card games) since I learned it in university. And many other intellectual games as well!

2. Sports:
I played basketball since I was a elementary school student, and was a captain of our department's basketball team in university. I also play table tennis and jogging at school.^^

I like Tai-Chi (Chinese traditional martial arts) and learned it for 3 years, and participated in several competitions before. I also like dancing and is a beginner for ballroom dancing and tap dance. If you like, I can show you a small part of tap dance I remember!:D

Now, I love biking very much! if you come to Taipei, my boyfriend and I can tell you how to use our public bikes and the biking route recommended.

3. Music
I played recorders (bamboo flute) from elementary school to junior high school, and like it very much! I also love singing and belong to a student chorus now, and I've been sung in our National Concert Hall several times! As most young people in Taiwan, I listen to popular music and like love songs best.(But now, most are chorus songs) So if you like, I could share some beautiful song with you or even sing a song to you! ;)

4. Listening and talking
I enjoy listening and talking with various kind of friends, sharing different opinions, perspectives, and experiences! I like to learn from others.

I enjoy making friends, and I hope I'll have a chance to meet you some day! :)

2. Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live- Love- Parent- and Lead(脆弱的力量 in Chinese)
and many other books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. I memorized all songs in music textbooks which the flute can play when I was in the 5th grades in elementary school and played all songs in front of the class and exceeded the highest score I could get from the teacher!

2. I founded a Go club and become a leader in Taipei First Girl senior high school (which is a school emphasizes on studying) and come back to be a teacher of the club and teach students there before!

3. I once wrote "Je t'aime." to a boy, he accepted me that day and also my proposal to break up four month later after he went abroad to study. However, we're still together for six years and I've been traveling with him for many places around the world! :)
