I am Chinmay. I am 26 years old born in Mumbai, raised in Ahmedabad (India's Prime minister is also here as well but nothing much to boast here, it is an industrial city), lived in the southern part of India then in northern part. Currently, my parents live in Mumbai. I came to Europe when I saw that my life had become too comfortable and to also pursue my masters. I am currently working to ensure that company stays solvent when there are too much claims by working as a Financial Risk Manager at Delta Lloyd (I still hope you dont have insurances from the same! : Just a joke)

I enjoy cooking, meeting new people, certifications as a masseur, love to taste different wines, music, watching movies, chess, exploring new cultures, helping others but love to argue and discuss on most sensitive topics as well apart from my big interest in financial literacy and investments. I think I can blend in with everyone from the sophisticated to the rough and tough ones :)

I have saved my virginity for the special one despite living in Amsterdam for over a year :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I could not find a place to live in Amsterdam and I came to this board. I met some very amazing people and now, I have become a part of couch surfing. Now, I hope to make friends, explore culture and world.

Whenever I get too comfortable with life, I start panicking and need to explore some new place and use couchsurfing to gain some humility, socialize and create lovely memories

My one of the best memories are actually when I was exploring Germany and Prague.
