ABOUT ME

Im a student at Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication in Pune. I am going to pursue cinematography as a profession. Photography has always been a passion of mine and now I am doing it as my profession. To work as a professional Cinematographer is the dream and I am looking to study at the UCLA for an MFA degree to get there after I finish with this course I am currently studying. I am a fire spinner and the specific fire art I specialize is called Fire POI. I love travelling and performing this art as it is my favourite thing in the world to do after my work. I would like to travel and meet a lot more Fire POI artists to learn and share our knowledge on the same.... Also, I love architecture as I keep it to an interest and I really like clicking beautiful structures and spending time around them....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my flatmates has been a Couchsurfer since a few years and during our stay together, he had a lot of surfers come and stay over and over a period of 1 year, about 8 couch surfers from 5 different countries had stayed with us and was a brilliant experience. I have personally not travelled in the last 2 years because of my studies, but in the next few years, I will be travellng extensively. It would be great to start meeting new people and sharing experiences as travelling is an art and I always learn something new and interesting from travellers.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I love experimenting with new music, I listen to a lot of genres of it. But when it comes to favourites, I listen to Jazz like John Coltrane or Dave Brubeck, Classic Rock like CCR, ACDC, Mr Big, etc..., Acoustics of a lot of new artists especially John Mayer and Coldplay, Post Rock bands like God is an Astronaut & This Will Destroy You. I like music that I can dance to. Progressive house and French electronica is also music I like. I am a Media student and is the Specialization I am taking up is Film studies and Cinematography. I watch two films a day and I that list keeps on building up. So maybe who in interested in Film comes by... we shall discuss film and its world in detail.... I am ot mentioning much here cos there is a lot about film i wanna talk about..but to say what my favourite is.... I say Bicycle Thief, Koyanatskatsi, Run Lola Run, The Godfather, Apocalypse Now,... but my favourite director of all time is Stanley Kubrick ....
