I'm a filmmaker who is about to take a sabbatical. I plan on taking a year off to roam around the world. I hope to broaden my horizons, feed my hunger for knowledge, become a better filmmaker and, most importantly, a better person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my year trekking around the globe I want to meet locals who know and love their town and want to show it off. Exploring a new area is always more fruitful with a local.

Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up on Punk Rock (The Clash, Ramones, The Stooges) but my musical taste is wide ranging. I hold in high regard anyone who can write a great song. Some of my favorite musicians are Tom Waits, Nick Cave, and Leonard Cohen.
My biggest influences as a film maker are Terry Gilliam, Guillermo Del Toro, and Jim Henson just to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrote, directed, and produced a feature film for only $1600. The hardest thing I have ever done in my life but I learned invaluable lessons.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, and I especially love to cook for others. During my stay I would love to whip up a dinner or two for my host(s). Also I would love to share recipes. I'm always on the lookout for my new favorite dish.
