Retired in Juneau, AK. Married to Missy a public school teacher, have 14 year old daughter, Adelie. Lived in Michigan, Colorado, Brazil, Kenya (Peace Corps), Alaska. Traveled throughout Europe, Asia, Central and South America. Taught in a bunch of villages in Alaska. Into science education, science and fantasy fiction. Love the mountains, having climbed Denali in Alaska, fourteeners in Colorado, mountains near Huaraz, Peru. Love the canyons and deserts of US Southwest. Love drawing and painting in all media, carving masks, bowls, two-dimensional panels. Favorite sport is ultimate frisbee, followed by tennis and volleyball. Like to kayak, snowboard, sail, but most of all, ride my bikes and recumbent trikes.
