ABOUT ME

I'm now living in Denver, CO! Awesome place with all the outdoor stuff available within few hours drive. Simply amazing! I teach ESL at the University of Denver, but I'm also back in school doing prerequisites for nursing school. I want a career change! I love helping people, and while I do this teaching, I also want to earn a bit more money...teaching sadly doesn't cut it!

PHILOSOPHY

I think we should enjoy our lives, otherwise what's the point? But I think that bringing greater peace and happiness is an intrinsic responsibility, too, so our enjoyment should come only when it doesn't hurt others. Try to be considerate...and have fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I wish I could host, but to me, part of that experience is being around to hang out with people, and I sadly have no time right now. Working and going to school take their tolls...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with friends all over the US, sleeping on floors and couches and beds, whatever's available. A German friend of mine (who I stayed with in the fall of '09) hosts couchsurfers and has had such great experiences that I tried it out and stayed with wonderful people in Avignon and Nice, France.

兴趣

My main passion is climbing: sport and multi-pitch trad, mostly, although I'm also getting into alpine and hope to do that a lot more in the future. I'm also learning to snowboard, although the traffic getting up there kills me! I enjoy reading books, watching movies, taking photos, meeting people, traveling, snowboarding, and (did I mention?) rock climbing.

Climbed Petite Grepon in Rocky Mountain National Park. Summiting was amazing. Beautiful climb, beautiful scenery.
