ABOUT ME

If 10,000 hours is required to master something, then I have mastered only two things in my lifetime: sleeping and not dying. Traveling is one of my passions, but it hasn't always been. Up until last year I was lacking any knowledge of the world around me. Last summer, I took an opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy through my home institution. I learned more about myself in those three months than I could have ever hoped to learn in four years with the University of Missouri. I was able to diversify my knowledge of the world around me, and it made me realize how much I was missing. I used to sit around, eat Taco Bell, and watch Netflix all day, but now I am living an active lifestyle and am pursuing my passion for travel. As a Couch Surfer, I understand the value of a shared experience, and as much as I enjoy traveling, I also feel that I have plenty to offer for those who share the same passion.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My idea is to travel the United States without spending a dime that I haven't earned along the way. I'll start from scratch, paying for travel, food and other intangibles with money I earn in the cities I visit by acquiring temporary gigs at local businesses. I'll be traveling with a couple friends and a video camera, promoting the site along the way with video blogs and footage from the trip.

兴趣

I am interested in anything fun (Sports, entertainment, travel, etc...) I am always looking for something unique and out of the ordinary because I get a kick out of trying new things, whether it's funny, entertaining, or just plain stupid. I am also a writer, and have published a couple of screenplays, so I am very interested in creative things to write about.
