ABOUT ME

So my name is Gustavo and I am a college student. I study Computer Science and am interested more in the metaphysical/programming theory side. I was born and raised just outside of Los Angeles. All my life I have had friends with different cultural backgrounds. Right now I am working on trying to meet new people and get alot of different perspectives on life. I don't have much in the way of hobbies but I love to hang around outside with my friends (I'm from socal). I like to talk about movies, video games and sometimes even politics all though I dont know alot about it.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that human beings are one the most wonderful things that have ever existed. That being said, each day we waste life, treat others poorly and have complete disregard for the planet. But I believe that each person can make the world a better place if they are only willing to try and it is your duty as a human being to try. I try to believe that people are at their very core good even though the evidence against us is strong. Right now, I am trying to figure out who I am and how I can make change.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cant really participate in the program on the hosting side until I get a place of my own but I pretty much always can make time for coffee/tea and I can show people around town. I do hope to go surfing as soon as I get the chance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far but I will definitely change that

Interests

Movies. Some Television shows. Reading. Video games. Tennis. Anime (although I havent actually seen any in a couple years). I hope to start trying things like Rock climbing, surfing, hiking and maybe even parkour.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most movies especially really cheesy action movies.

For Music: The Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone Age, Queen, Thrice, Aquabats, Big D and the Kids Table, Warriors and lots of others.

Books: Any Chuck Palahnuik, Crime and Punishment, Great Gatsby, more but I cant remember right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing too big yet but I really want to put here that I backpacked Europe or that I climbed/hiked to Manchu Pichu.
