Overview
About Me
Hi Y'all! Born and raised in the Dallas Fort Worth area and traveling the country chasing storms for work. I inspect houses for insurance companies and tell them what to pay! When I'm not working I'm either out playing disc golf, hiking, or looking for a good brewery that does trivia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've spent the last year basically living out of hotels and wanted to see about meeting more locals instead of spending all my time alone. I signed up a long time ago and completely forgot I had a profile until I was talking to someone about it recently and thought it would be a great way to meet people! After working in 5 states last year, I finally got an extended job in CT and figured I could learn the area from people that live here before I figure out where I want to settle in.
Interests
Qualified for the disc golf Amateur World Championships years ago but don't get to play as much as I did then. Always down for seeing new outdoor sights and shoot with a Nikon D3200. Looking to upgrade soon though since I feel like I've had that camera forever...

Music, Movies, and Books
Wide range of music! Anything trance, especially Anjuna, Armada, and most recently Colorize. Pretty much any rock or rap. Honestly, just about anything but country. I know, totally from Texas and don't like country music...
Movies are probably Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption. Don't really watch many often anymore since I can't usually dedicate the time to them. I've gotten hooked on some of the big shows like The Office, Parks & Rec, Friends, etc. and binged watched a lot of them.
Books are mostly audio at this point. Recently I'm just hooked on motivational stuff like John Kim, Gary John Bishop, Yung Pueblo. Last book I physically read was The Body Keeps the Score. Definitely recommend it for everyone that's ever struggled with life in general.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent 3 months in southern France as a teen with my dad while he was on a military deployment. Got to basically vacation for 3 months as long as I found places I could show him around on the weekends.
Teach, Learn, Share
Pretty much open to everything! Most of the teaching related stuff would probably be technology related if it's not just playing disc golf. Really want to learn to snowboard this winter so I'm working as hard as I can now to have a little bit of time when snow starts falling consistently.
