My name is Chirag. I enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle, exploring new places unknown to me, and embracing different cultures and philosophies of living :). People of different places are what makes travelling meaningful and memorable.

When travelling, I appreciate anyone reaching out to offer help with accommodation, meeting up, or just teaching me or providing recommendations and always happy to connect, network and share information even if meeting is not always possible.

If you are coming to Melbourne, I like taking visitors around the city, showing them the places that would suit their interests and personalities, and meeting world travelers along the way :) . I run Melbourne Walking Tours or Bike Tours via my charity organisation and feel free to reach out if you're interested!

I started 3 different charities/not-for-profits to help address different issues. All of them are connected to health and education in some capacity, but one is an international charity organisation focusing on improving health & education gaps to disadvantaged communities, one is a charity supporting the health and well-being of pharmacists (I'm a clinical pharmacist by background but I now work as a Director across multiple hospitals), and the other is a charity focusing on developing models, actors photography and cinematography people and using the influence of modelling and photo/videography to send positive or meaningful messages.

Travel is my passion so when I can't travel, spending time with travelers is very uplifting as often, travelers are more appreciative of the places locals take for granted, yet when I'm travelling I like to meet local people to understand and experience a deeper connection to the places and what makes the world so magical.

I am also a big movie and music person. I love music festivals and live concerts/events, enjoy a lot of sports too, and generally just enjoy anything that's going to get me moving and stimulate my thinking and creativity.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people and learning about the places I visit from the perspective of the local people. I do a lot of solo travel and spend significant time alone in a fulfilling way, yet sharing experiences with others i also find equally meaningful. Also couchsurfing is a great place for me to understand and learn about a place from the local perspective and sometimes even find accommodation options too!
